Career
I'm an Art & Animation Director well-versed in every aspect of ideation, production, and management for video game art and animation.
As an Art Director, I have shipped 26+ titles representing over 30 million units sold and over $7 billion in revenue. I've worked on both original and licensed IP, across five generations of console hardware, seven genres, and nine different game engines.
As an Animation Director, I have storyboarded, planned, and directed over 30 motion-capture shoots for core game animation and narrative cinematics. I've directed talent ranging from Tiger Woods to Randy Couture, Bas Rutten, Chad Johnson, and Bootsy Collins, alongside countless actors and stunt performers.
My teams have ranged from 20 to 300 developers, scattered across multiple time zones and four continents. I've run as many as four simultaneous projects, each in a different phase of production, with up to 70 direct reports spanning nearly every discipline of game development. Over the years, I've mentored hundreds of artists, engineers, and designers, many of whom are now directors and creative leaders across games and film.
I'm currently co-founding two original IP studios — Legend of Zalk (shipped mobile F2P) and Black Pine: Incident Response (co-op survival horror, 100,000+ Steam wishlists) — while continuing to direct real-time historical visualization work in Unity HDRP.
I'm open to senior creative leadership roles where I can bring the full depth and breadth of this experience to a team, raising the quality of both the product and the production cycle it comes out of.
